Salaries of Three MPDOs Withheld for One Month

Paderu: Collector Nishanthi said that tribal people from Alluri district will be sent in large numbers for the inauguration of Bhogapuram International Airport on August 1st by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She held a meeting with officials of various departments at the Collectorate on Wednesday.

She stated that the Joint Collector will act as the nodal officer for coordinating the people going from the district. She also said that foolproof security arrangements are being made under the supervision of the SP.

A helpline number 92818 56953 has been set up, she said. The Collector warned that negligence by the staff assigned for this visit will not be tolerated. She made it clear that action will be taken against officials who violate norms under the Disaster Management Act.

Collector ordered the concerned District Treasury Officer Anil Kumar to withhold the salaries for this month of the MPDOs of Ananthagiri, Araku Valley and Dumbriguda for dereliction of duties.

వర్షాకాలంలో మలేరియా, టైఫాయిడ్ వంటి వ్యాధులు ప్రబలుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో గిరిజనులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని పద్మావతి గారు ప్రత్యేక అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.

వేడి చేసి చల్లార్చిన నీటిని తాగాలని, అనారోగ్య లక్షణాలు కనిపించిన వెంటనే ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రికి వెళ్లి వైద్యం చేయించుకోవాలని ప్రజలకు సూచించారు. పసరమందు, నాటు వైద్యం చేయవద్దని స్పష్టంగా తెలియజేశారు.
