Sensational Inquiry into Cheedikada BC Girls Hostel

District BC Welfare Officer Smt. K. Sridevi has personally stepped in and taken sensational decisions regarding the ongoing irregularities and malpractices in the Cheedikada BC Girls Hostel for the past few months.

Complaints were received in April regarding non-implementation of the menu for the girls, rude behavior by staff, and making the girls wash bathrooms and toilets. Along with the complaint in the District Spandana, this issue was also brought to the attention of State Education Minister Sri Nara Lokesh through a video call.

Responding immediately, Smt. Sridevi along with the Joint Collector and RDO conducted a detailed inquiry twice at Cheedikada High School and the Hostel.

After the facts were confirmed in the inquiry, strict action was taken in this matter by transferring the cooking staff to another hostel and suspending the then Warden MEO.

District BC Welfare Officer Smt. K. Sridevi, who is constantly striving for the welfare of poor girls, acted with great responsibility and commitment in this case. She personally understood the problems of the girls, conducted an impartial inquiry without any interference, and took immediate action. Because of this, local people and the parents of the girls are expressing happiness. Everyone is appreciating Smt. Sridevi's action.

OFFICIALS TEAM WHO CAME FOR INQUIRY

On Thursday at 4 PM, District BC Welfare Officer Smt. K. Sridevi, along with DWAMA PD Smt. Nirmaladevi, DRDA PD Smt. Sasidevi, District DIO of Medical and Health Department Sri Chandrasekhar, K.Kotapadu CI Sri Kilaparti Krishna, Nodal Headmaster Sri Divarahamurthy, and DT Sri Simhadri came to the hostel.

They first spoke to the girls, and then separately spoke to Warden Lalitha and the cooking staff and collected complete details. Officer Smt. K. Sridevi stated that this inquiry report will be submitted to the Collector through Anakapalli RDO. She warned that strict surveillance will be maintained on all hostels in the district to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
