Strict Action Against Irresponsible Teachers and Staff: APC Sri Ramulu

Anakapalli: Samagra Shiksha Additional Project Coordinator APC Sri Ramulu said that student welfare is their top priority and that they will immediately respond and stand by students if they face any problem.

He responded to the incident at Kotavuratla Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School where 30 girl students fell ill after consuming contaminated food.

Following a detailed inquiry into the incident, APC Sri Ramulu issued show-cause notices to five staff members on Sunday. Notices were served to Special Officer Saritadevi along with four other staff members who were on duty on Friday night when the incident occurred.

Speaking to the media, APC Sri Ramulu said, "Student safety and health is our main responsibility. We will not tolerate irresponsible behavior from teachers and staff. Strict action will be taken against those who neglect their duties. If students face any problem, we are always there to support them immediately."

He warned that after receiving the complete inquiry report, further stringent action will be taken against those found responsible. He made it clear that there will be no compromise when it comes to the welfare of students.

Parents of the students expressed relief that officials responded quickly and took action following the incident. They demanded that such incidents should not recur in any residential school in the district and that strict
