Remarkable Success in Water Conservation and Resource Development

Visakhapatnam: Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) District has excelled in the Jaldhara-Jalaharati program, which is being implemented with the objective of water conservation, development of water resources, and enhancing water storage capacity. The district has secured first place in the state in all three key categories.

ASR District has achieved the top position in the state in three areas: undertaking the highest number of works, creating the highest new water storage capacity, and achieving the maximum desired outcomes through Jaldhara-Jalaharati.

The effective coordination, continuous monitoring, and result-oriented implementation at the field level by the district administration under the leadership of District Collector T. Nishanthi contributed to this success.

The Collector regularly reviewed the implementation of the program and guided officials to complete the works on time, utilize available resources efficiently, and achieve clear results at the ground level.

Coordination among various departments, continuous reviews, and guidance to officials played a key role in placing the district at the top in all three categories. On this occasion, district-level officials and field staff congratulated Collector T. Nishanthi.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Nishanthi said that the district's achievement is the result of the collective efforts of all department officials, field staff, and stakeholders.
