*Dumburiguda:* Dumburiguda RWS Officer Mahesh has set an example of how officials should respond swiftly to public problems.


After ‘AP VOICE TODAY’ published a news report about the drinking water problems in Borrapalem of Korra Panchayat, officials responded immediately.


With the gravity scheme having dried up, villagers said they were forced to depend on spring water to meet their needs. They expressed their distress stating that they have to walk kilometers for drinking water and that children and elderly people are facing severe difficulties.


In the background of tribal people expressing their anguish that despite filing complaints to officials multiple times, no action was taken, this news was published.


Responding to this news, Dumburiguda RWS Officer Mahesh immediately responded and assured the villagers that the gravity scheme would be restored along with providing a permanent solution.


There is happiness in the village with the officer’s response. The officer Mahesh said that he would personally monitor the complaint which was ignored earlier, giving new hope to the tribal people.
