Awareness was created among the local people on wet waste and dry waste and public participation was ensured. People were also alerted about the upcoming rains and were advised to be cautious. Through Tom-Tom, it was announced that everyone should drink boiled water.

In these days when many skip duties if it rains, EO Gangadhar, who worked in the rain for the health of the people, is being appreciated by the locals and public representatives. People are expressing happiness over his attitude that public health is important. Locals are praising that it is fortunate for Chodavaram Panchayat to have an efficient officer like Gangadhar.
